Be My Valentine-A Starburst Technique

Last minute Valentine idea featuring the Starburst Technique.

This techniques is easy, fun and addictive! You simply cut strips of DSP. Then, cut them on the diagonal. Then, you add the diagonal pieces to a rectangle shape of card stock in a starburst pattern. It is important to pay attention to the pattern, ensuring that you do not have an upside down pattern. Once all strips are adhered to the base piece of card stock, trim the edges, creating a nice clean rectangle. This can be done with paper snips or with a trimmer. I paired these strips with the beautiful Adoring Hearts Bundle.

This Valentine card used 3/4 inch strips of Most Adored DSP. This DSP is gorgeous with its gold accents and can be chosen for free during Saleabration with a $50 purchase.

This card features the Softly Stippled DSP, also free during Saleabration with a $50 purchase. Here, the strips of DSP are cut to one inch strips. I paired these strips with the beautiful circles from the Everyday Details Dies.
